Postponement of the Focus Meeting 4
to February 3-5, 2022
We live in difficult and unexpected times. Fresh data about increases in the number of new COVID-19 cases is being published every day. The virus has changed our lives in many ways and most face-to-face meetings have needed to become virtual ones.
The main idea of our Focus Meetings is to bring together physicians with different specializations so that they can discuss pressing issues and understand everybody else’s standpoint. We have held three successful Focus Meetings based on this idea so far. Having the meeting in person offers unique opportunities, such as the chance to talk with each other in formal and informal surroundings, to get to know each other better and to understand each other’s point of view.
Having considered all of the advantages and disadvantages and, most importantly, your safety, we have had to make the tough decision to postpone Focus Meeting 4, “Molecular Imaging and Therapy in Hematological Tumors”, by one year.
We sincerely hope that you understand our reasons for doing this and will support our decision. While the quality of the meeting was of course a factor, everybody’s health and safety was the main reason for taking this course of action.
We are looking forward to seeing you on February 3-5, 2022 in Seville, Spain.
