The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), the world-leading society for nuclear medicine, molecular imaging and theranostics, is pleased to continue the EANM Focus Meeting – an annual conference in a new format that will take place in the first months of each year. It will supplement the very successful EANM Annual Congress in October and the educational events organised by EANM/ESMIT.
At the EANM Focus Meeting, a multidisciplinary group of experts and opinion leaders from all over the world will present state-of-the-art lectures and participate in consensus panels. The second EANM Focus Meeting will be on Neuroimaging: Molecular Imaging of Dementia – The Future is Here.
We are very pleased that a large faculty of neurologists, radiologists, geriatricians, psychiatrists, imagers, clinical and basic scientists and patient-advocates has agreed to lecture and participate in the discussions. The aim of the meeting is to provide an in-depth overview and critical assessment of the latest development and future directions in the management of dementia, with a focus on the role of neuroimaging in general and nuclear medicine in particular. The goal is to arrive at a multidisciplinary consensus on the current state of the art and to make expert recommendations how to advance the field towards establishing clinical impact.
You are cordially invited to attend the first EANM Focus Meeting in the Novotel Cannes Montfleury Hotel in Cannes, France, on January 31 – February 2, 2019. Registrations are limited to 250 participants and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please reserve your attendance as soon as possible.
We hope to welcome you to the beautiful city of Cannes beginning of 2019 to continue this exciting EANM initiative.
With best personal regards,
Wim J.G. Oyen and Gaël Chételat
